The Rewind technique

The Rewind technique is unique,

It can bring a proven, effective, safe, quick solution to trauma sufferers.

Rewind is safe because the technique can be used with very little chance, if any, of  re-traumatising the trauma sufferer.

The Rewind technique is based on an NLP technique called “fast phobia cure”

The technique works by allowing the traumatised person, whilst in a safe and relaxed state, to reprocess the traumatic memory, so that it becomes stored as a memory without emotional attachment. In other words the memory is stored away and although it was not a pleasant memory it now feels non threatening.

The process:

To start with, in a very relaxed state and in an imagined safe place the trauma sufferer is asked to watch themselves watching a screen. They can not see what the person watching the screen can see. In other words, they are not watching the memory themselves, just watching themselves watch it. This distances the client, whilst in their safe place, from the process. There is a lot more to the process than this but when described it can seem very complicated, when it is actually a very simple, safe and effective experience.

Once the process is completed the client is brought out of relaxation and the Rewind is complete.

As well as being safe, quick, painless and side effect free, the Rewind technique is unique, in that the therapist does not need to know any detail of the actual traumatic experience.

There are many advantages to processing trauma in this way compared to some other therapies.

Summary:

The Rewind can treat ANY traumatic memory, even lifelong traumas.

The Rewind technique can also  effectively treat phobias.

The Rewind is suitable for adults and children.

The Rewind technique works very quickly.

Using The Rewind, a trauma or phobia can be lifted in a one hour session.

This technique can be used for other issues as well.

Over the last 12  years I have helped hundreds of clients of all ages with The Rewind technique. Including a paramedic who was having PTSD flashbacks about an accident he had attended. Others who have been helped are those involved in accidents, clients with trauma from sexual abuse, bullying in relationships, bullying at school and workplace bullying,

erectile dysfunction, social phobia, confidence, anxiety, fear of spiders, fear of flying, being a passenger in a car, driving, snakes, fear of heights, fear of bridges. fear of being alone, fear of frogs, fear of riding a horse, fear of the dark, fear of eating certain foods, fear of dentists, fear of needles, fear of bees, fear of buttons, fear of clowns and mascots.

So, finally, imagine coming for The Rewind session for trauma or a phobia at say 10 o’clock  in the morning. After a relaxing hour, you walk away and leave it behind! Now that may be hard to imagine, especially if you have had it for a long time. But it is entirely possible with The Rewind technique
